The Core District could be the heart of San Diego's downtown. City Hall is located here, in addition to Civic Center and the Small Business Administration offices. Rich with history, this distinct area was once considered the cultural and entertainment hub, housing several theaters. After downtown San Diego's revitalization, these unique buildings were restored into several striking and modern high-rise condominiums, the B Street financial corridor, luxury hotels, and charming shops. Well on its way to becoming an even more diverse area than it once was, this area also hosts a variety of nightlife and is in a unique locale that is central to all.
