San Diego Downtown is a special place to call home. We understand that you might have lots of questions.   As a licensed Realtor in the State of California we are bound to follow the rules set forth in the Federal Fair Housing Act


We cannot discuss things like schools, crime statistics, and demographics. We cannot render an opinion about the status of the neighborhood. This is something that you will have to do a little research on your own to make those determinations.  


We understand as Buyers in the San Diego Downtown area your need to know the answers to your questions! We are not trying to keep the information from you, but the Federal Fair Housing Act restricts the information we can provide potential San Diego Downtown buyers. 




What we can do is give you resources to answer your very important questions!

 

The Internet is a wonderful resource and there are many great resources in addition to this list. We strongly encourage you to do a little homework before you decide to put an offer on a San Diego Downtown condo.  Here are some ideas and resource that you may want to use to answer your important questions:

  • Check on-line registries for the location of any local sex offenders.
  • View the Schools Accountability Report Card. Ask to visit the school, meet with the President of the PTA and introduce yourself and ask a few questions. 
  • Cruise the neighborhood at night. Most people make the mistake of seeing a home during the day and looking again during the same time a few days later. Check it out in the morning and late afternoon too! The character of a community can change with the time of day.
